'Sompura Arts' was founded in 1965 By our Director Mr. Hariprasad
H. Sompura.
We work in the following four spheres :
1. Temple Architecture:
We
design and build Traditional Indian Temples precisely as per Vastu-Shastra .
By now we have completed 36 Temples for e.g.
Vasupujya Temple at King Circle, Mumbai
Nityanand Samadhi temple at Ganeshpuri

To give

Stone Furniture and Mini Temples:
We
design and make Stone Furniture, Mini Temples for interior, idols and grills
as per our Architect Hitesh Sompura's designs. The items are on display at our
Art-Gallery in Mumbai.
4.
Social Work:
To
encourage the underprivileged sculptors and craftsmen we organize award functions,
exhibitions of their work and arrange jobs for them. We have a Library and an
Audio-Visual Room for those interested in Traditional Indian Architecture and
the handicraft of stone-carving.
